Door of Hope Rescue Mission

Door of Hope Rescue Mission was recently damaged by a fire.  All 11 our residents have been displaced, as the building is no longer inhabitable. Through the grace of God, everyone survived without harm.  We are in dire need of emergency assistance to repair the building, purchase furnishings and equipment, supplies and food, and other general operating expenses.  The most pressing need is to repair the building, followed by replacing furnishings and equipment.  If you are able to assist in any way, please call 773 624-0585.  Your assistance is most appreciated.

We are thankful to God, who, in His tender mercy, saw fit to spare our lives during these perilous times.  We also thank you, the faith community, elected officials, friends, family, and colleagues, for the outpouring of love, financial support and other resources.

We are Christ centered, bible based and practical for those who truly want change.

We provide very basic services:
a convenient, clean and safe environment, including meals, showers and multipurpose spaces. Social, medical and vocational service access is through our partnered service providers.

Our success is in building up a community with dignity and the assistance of fellowship minded transformation partners.
